1837-1838 Liberty Seated Half Dimes on the obverse there are no stars and no drapery on elbow. For the years 1853-1855 the weight was reduce to 1.24 grams from 1.34 grams. Coins that do not have crisp strike details are common. On the obverse, compare star centers for better struck examples. On the reverse, look for full details of the wreath leaves. Better struck examples with good eye appeal will command higher Liberty Seated Half Dime Value compared to the current average retail prices.
