The Draped Bust Half Dime has two different reverses. 1796-1797 has a small eagle and the 1800-1803 and 1805 has a large eagle with a shield in front of its chest. There were no circulation strikes made in 1804. Most Draped Bust Half Dimes are weakly struck. Finding a nicely struck beutiful eye appealing coin should bring a high premium Drape Bust Half Dime value of current average retail prices. Care should be looked upon when considering a heavily toned coin. The toning can hide the true surface and a careful eye and patience should be taken to correctly judge grading.
